Hollas Lane Working Party

All Players & club members Saturday 4th July from 10:00am onwards

Can you help by coming down to Hollas Lane on Saturday July 4th from 10am onwards to help carry out work on entrance to the new pitch. Bring a pair of gloves and a spade or shovel. Please encourage as many people as possible to turn up.

Seniors pre season training
Pre season training starts 7:00pm prompt Tuesday 30th June and will continue every Tuesday and Thursday evening. Any new players interested in playing Yorkshire 3 rugby are welcome to come down and join in. In addition any players new to the game or wishes to play social rugby are also welcome.

Under 12's and under 13/14's pre season training
Pre season training starts Sunday 5th July 10:30 - Noon and will continue every Sunday morning. Any new players interested in playing under 12 or under 13/14 rugby are welcome to come down and join in.
Please bring trainers instead of rugby boots and with the warm weather a drink for breaks.

Under 15/16's and 17's pre season training ...
The under 17's have started pre season training on Friday evenings at the club starting at 7:30pm. Please bring trainers. Under 15/16's are welcome to join in.

Under 8's and 9's pre season training ...
The under 8 and 9's will commence pre season training this Friday at the club starting at 6:00pm. Please bring trainers instead of rugby boots and with the warm weather a drink for breaks. Under 10's are welcome to join in.
Training sessions will include group games with all age groups and then split into teams for age specific training.

Fixtures Secretary... updated 06/05/09
Don Blakey is standing down as Fixtures Secretary and we require someone to take over this role fairly quickly. 1st XV fixtures will be published in the next few weeks and clubs will start to arrange 2nd XV fixtures.

The end of season presentation day will be held at the Club on Sunday 10th May. There will be the usual Lads v Dads match starting at 10:30 followed by the presentation starting approx 11:30.

Additional Changing facility arrives........ updated 27/02/09
As the mini and junior section continues to grow we are at changing room capacity. To overcome this situation we have acquired a temporary changing room until we can plan and raise funds for a more permanent clubhouse extension. The changing room was delivered this Thursday and lowered into postion with inches to spare.

The next stage stage is to build a covered link into the existing changing rooms. We thank Gary Collins for helping to provide and deliver the changing room.
