2010 - 11 Season - The Under 9's
The under 9's moved upto contact rugby this season and we wondered if the squad would be physicaly big enough. The results only losing tree games all season answered that question. They were off to a great start going into the West District Festival unbeaten and winning the festival. They lost their unbeaten run to Cleckheaton just before Christmas. The second half of the season saw them build another unbeaten run into the Festivals. At the Keighley Festival they reached the final only to suffer their second defeat 5-10 to a strong Lymm side. At the Sandal Festival their third defeat was at the hands of Cleckheaton in the 3rd place play off. The score, of course was 5-10. The squad completed the remainder of the season unbeaten to win the Brods and Driffield Festival Cups.

Review of 2009 - 10 Season - The Under 8's
The under 8's had a great season building on the unbeaten run from the previous season. During the 2008-09 season as under 7's their last defeat was on 14th December against Skipton. They went on an unbeaten run of 18 games which took them to the end of the season. This season they continued this run until the 11th April when they lost 5-7 to West Park Leeds in the Final at the Brods festival thus ending an incredible 42 match run.

Despite only losing one game all season there was no silverware for the squad who were runners up at the Brods and Sandal Festivals. They finished the season with a playing record P 26, W 22, D 3, L 1. They scored 305 tries and conceded 188. The top try scorer was Tom Georgiou again with 79 tries, followed by Finn Sutcliffe 63 and Oliver Brian 46.

Review of 2008 - 09 Season - The Under 7's
This season's new under 7's squad start playing a full season of competitive mini rugby. Last season they were learning the game in the micros squad and joining in with the under 7's to get some competitive match experience ready for this coming season.

The benefit of running a Micros squad obviously paid dividends. The Young Guns have exceeded all expectations, the highlight of a very successful season is undoubtedly winning the Harrogate Festival. The squad only lost 6 games all season finishing the season strongly undefeated in the last 18 games. In fact they had a wobbly start losing their first 2 games to Cleckheaton and Littleborough (but the opposition were fielding a combined 7/8's squad). They started to win games and looked good for a shot at the Sandal Festival but a defeat at the hands of Otley and a draw with West Park Leeds saw them pipped for a place in the final (Next year boys!!). A defeat at Huddersfield in October and 2 defeats at Skipton in December were the only blips for the rest of the season.

The under 7's ended their season with a playing record played 34, won 24, drawn 4, lost 6.

    The Under 7's Awards
  • Brandon Savage and Finn Sutcliffe shared the most improved player award.
  • Reggie Herd won the coachs award.
  • Thomas Georgiou won the player of the year trophy. Running in 95 tries

Review of 2007 - 08 Season - The Under 6's (The Micros)
The under 6's (The micros) had a very successful and enjoyable season. With new players arriving at the club throughout the year the squad has grown to a very healthy 20 players.

The under 6 section, known as the micros allows children aged 4 and 5 to start learning how to play tag rugby. They do not play competitive games until they reach their sixth birthday then they can join in with the under 7's squad and play competitive games. They train on Sunday mornings and occasionally travel with the under 7's to train with the opposition.

The micros have trained every week and towards the end of the season we invited Huddersfield YMCA micros to come down and join in a training session and play tag rugby. The session worked well and we returned the compliment by travelling to YM for a session. We plan to find another suitable club to join in next season. The basis of next seasons under 7 squad is now in place with 3 parents willing to coach the squad.

Under 6's Squad Jack Lumb, Edward Grogan, Thomas Doyle, George Wannan, Gabriel Moore, Bobbie White, Oliver Muscat-Baron, Oliver Brian, Rees Baraclough, Kieran Brocklehurst, William Adams, Toby Laurie, Max Hartley, Oliver Walton, Daniel Bentham, Harry Bentham, John Barker, Oscar Rowe, Benjamin Morris, Jack Malinson, Brandon Savage, Reggie Herd, Kieran Lewis
