Review of 2010 - 11 Season - Under 14's

Our aim for the under 14's was to recruit more players to ensure they could field a full side plus subs each week. We started the season with a combined 14/15's side and by February we had enough players to run a pure under 14. They started with a fine 50-0 win over Roundhegians and produced some excellent performances. New players joined throughout the season and we now have a squad of 20 players. 4 players have been put forward for under 15 district trials, lets hope they can progress to county trial. Andrew Keighley coaches this squad with the help of Luke Dawrant. We need another one or two coaches to help develop these young lads who show a lot of promise for the future.

Review of 2009 - 10 Season - Under 13's

At the end of last season the under 11/12's had a squad of 20 players and decided to split into their own age groups. This meant a big recruitment drive to find enough players to create two squads. The under 13's struggled to field 15 players on a number of occasions but managed to fulfil their fixtures. Towards the end of the season they had a squad of 17 players and played some good rugby. We need to recruit more players and aim for a squad of 20. Andy Day coaches this squad but we do need another two coaches to help Andy.

Review of 2008 - 09 Season - Under 12's

The under 12's ended the season with a squad of 10 players but we still require more players to join this development squad. They played 13 a side midi rugby with 6 forwards and and 7 backs on a half size pitch. With only 10 players the squad were unable to run a full team so had to merge with the under 11's to field a side. We are trying to recruit more players so we have a large enough squad to field a full team each week. We are still looking for 1 or 2 volunteers to help Andy Day with the coaching. During the season we recruited several new members and as the season progressed the squad recorded a few victories.

Victoies were hard to come by but there were good displays away at Wharfedale and Cleckheaton and at home to Baildon and Skipton. Perhaps the most pleasing result was the last game of the season against Keighley. Back in January they lost 0-35 but turned the table with a 7-5 victory. Considering they playing games against u12 sides they have performed well.

The under 11's section again only had a small squad of players and struggled raise a full side on a number of occasions and often merged with the under 10's to play a mixed under 10's/11's game.

Review of 2006 - 07 Season - Under 10's

The following new players have joined the under 10's during the season.
Daniel Rushworth, Yanneck Kasmierski, Josef Cotterill, Cameron Stortt, Tom Hammond, Oliver Machon.

The under 10's section again only have a small squad of 11 players and also struggled raise a full side on a number of occasions and often merged with the under 9's to play a mixed under 9/10's game. During the close season we will be concentrating on recruiting more players to increase the squad size.

Review of 2005 - 06 Season - Under 9's

The under 9 section has just completed their first season. They started training back in September but did not play any competitive games until after the Christmas break. There is a squad of 10 players but we do require more players to build the squad. The following new players joined the club during the season.
