Rishworthians let a 15 point lead slip

Match report Sunday 18th October Friendly
The under 16's were forced to make changes with Jack Ledgard and Harry Collett at the district trials. Baildon have started well this season with 42-0 win over Wetherby, 47-12 win over Morley and 19-17 win over Keighley so this would be a tough encounter. With Harry's father watching at the trials we have no reporter this week and there is nothing yet on the Baildon website.

Rishworthians started well and ran in two tries from Brad Fowles and Joel Broadbent. Josh Kelly converted one of the tries and then added a penalty to give Rishworthians a 15 - 0 lead.

For the rest of the first half they continued to play ever so well.

The second half was a different storey, Rishworthians then just switched off!. Players were in the wrong place at the wrong time. There were a few injury's which forced substitutions and upset the rhythm of the team. In the end Baildon did well to come back to win. But in the end it counted for nothing as we lost concentration,

Final Score: Baildon 25 - 15 Rishworthians
