Review of 2008 - 09 Season - Under 10's
The U10`s almost have an embarrassment of riches with coaching from with Bob Davies, Steve Cockroft, Dave McDonnell, Hugh Creasy, Jon Bake etc etc. This age group are making a real impact in Yorkshire and we are confident that quite a few of this group will play representative rugby in the near future. This season saw the introduction of contested scrums and line outs and more structure to the game with several players starting to find their prefered positions
The highlight of their season was winning the Scarborough Festival, the Doncaster Festival and West District runners up (losing in the final to Brods). The U10 playing record reads: P43, Won 35, D 3 L 5. They scored an amazing 1240 points and conceding only 255.
A few more players joined the squad to boost the numbers to 19 players allowing us to field two teams the Reds and All Blacks when everyone is available.

Review of 2007 - 08 Season - Under 9's
This has probably been their best season so far. The highlight of the season winning the Moortown and Huddersfield Festivals. They were unable to take the under 9 trophy at Harrogate having previously won it at under 7 and 8 level.
The first half of the season saw the squad on fire winning 13 games and losing only 3 matches. During the Christmas break they were invited to play at half time in the Leeds Carnegie v Sale game in front of a large 10,000 plus crowd. They played Pocklington and drew 10 - 10. After losing at home to Sandal 0 - 70 !! the coaches decided to introduce training on a Friday night which paid dividends by going on an excellent run after Christmas only conceding one try in 11 games.
The under 9's only recruited 2 new players this season but that was negated as they lost 3 or 4 players to other interests. Next season as under 10's they still play 9 a side rugby but the scrums and line outs are now contested.
We have arranged for Sidhill to sponsor a match kit for the players, the kit is the same as the under 17's which looks very smart.
Under 9's Squad Thomas Cockroft, William McDonnell, Sam Brant, Gregory Day, Jacob Bower, Thomas Sweeten, Billy Whythe, Lewis Hilton, Nathan Cooper, George Radcfiffe, Jack Davis, Charlotte Siddall, Tom Creasy, Daniel Byrnes, Sam Bake.
Review of 2006 - 07 Season - Under 8's
The under 8's completed their second season of mini tag rugby and now hang up their tag belts ready for next seasons challenge, contact rugby. During the season a few more players joined the squad to take the squad size up to 20 players and able to field two sides the All Blacks and the Reds on a number of occasions.
The highlight of the season was retaining the Harrogate Festival Trophy as joint winners with Sandal. At the Huddersfield Festival the under 8's won all their group games except for the final game which meant they played the other group winners and lost their semi final to eventual joint winners Sheffield.
The under 8's ended their season with a playing record played 42, won 21, drawn 6, lost 15.

During the season a few more players joined the squad and a few under 6 players from the micros moved up to boost the numbers to 16 players. After Christmas we were able to often field 2 teams.
