NatWest RugbyForce is a nationwide programme aimed at making grassroots rugby clubs stronger by improving their facilities. With the support of club volunteers and the local community, the work focuses around the NatWest RugbyForce Weekend in June.
There has been an amazing response from clubs to NatWest RugbyForce 2018, with hundreds of clubs signing-up for the series of free workshops, financial support and exciting prizes.
The weekend is a great way to bring members and the local community to the club and pull together to make improvements ahead of the new season. This year the weekend will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June and promises to be another great event that brings the rugby family and local communities together.
We've won some funding for materials to spruce up and improve our playing facilities. Now we need your help to make it all happen. There's a whole range of jobs and tasks - if you'd like to try something new team leaders will provide training and guidance, but where machinery is involved there may be age restrictions. Please take a look at the list of tasks. Ideally we're looking for people to join in for half a day or more, but if you can only manage a couple of hours that's fine
Just call/text Eleanor [07955 760 507] e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
or Andy [07774 111 501] e-mail email@example.com
or Dave [01422 371672] to book in. Naturally we'll have food and refreshments running through each day [10am to 5pm] with a BBQ at the days end.
