Rishworthians entered the under 7's and under 8's teams in
the Morley Festival on Sunday.
Under 7's Results
The under 7's played three games at the festival.
The squad was Charlotte Siddal, Emma Bower, Sam Puddyfat, Callum Bell, William Symms, Corry White
and Oliver Davis.

organised
and
drilled
side
in
the
opening
game.
Well
taken
tries

Bell
and
William
Symms
kept
them
in
it
to
the
very
end.
Rishworthians 3 Huddersfield YMCA 3
This was always going to be an evenly contested game. Rishies were always in
with a shout thanks to some tremendous tagging by Charlotte Siddal whose
competitive leading of the line draw some great play from the rest of the
side. The entire team tackled there hearts out and were rewarded with tries
by
Corry White
and two from
Callum Bell
which gave them a well deserved draw.
Rishworthians 4 Old Brodleans 3
The team was improving with every game and were now hunting as a pack.
Forcing a number of turn overs and knock ons from Old Brods. Charlotte at
one point seemed to be collecting tags for fun. Tries from
William Symms
and two more from
Callum Bell
meant it was 3 apiece going into the closing seconds, but a beautifully
timed run from
Emma Bower
saw her go over in the corner, With barely enough time for the restart,
Rishies had secured a well deserved victory.
